    • If you are a Capital Provider, you may provide information about yourself or your organization, including contact information, a photograph, biography, professional experience, investment interests, preferred industries, geographic preferences, and funding criteria. Unless you choose to share it or we explain otherwise, your personal profile information will not be publicly displayed.
    • If you are a Capital Seeker, you may provide information about yourself and, where applicable, the business or other organization on whose behalf you are seeking capital. This may include information about the organization, its owners or management team, the amount and type of capital sought, the intended use of the funding, and any other supporting information. You may also upload photographs, videos, business materials, financial information, or other supporting documents. This information may be shared with Capital Providers as directed or authorized by you or as reasonably necessary to provide the matching Services.
  • If you provide personal data about another person, such as a team member, representative, or reference, you represent that you have the authority or consent necessary for us to collect, use, and disclose that information as described in this Privacy Policy. If that person asks us to remove their information, we will review and respond to the request as appropriate.

For what purpose will my personal data be used?

We use personal data to create and maintain accounts, process inquiries and applications, operate the Services, facilitate introductions and potential matches between Capital Seekers and Capital Providers, support communications, respond to requests, and provide customer service.

We may also use personal data to verify identities and account information, protect against fraud or misuse, improve and personalize the Services, communicate about platform activity or updates, and provide information about opportunities or features that may be relevant to you.

Where appropriate, we may use publicly available or third-party sources, such as professional networking sites, to confirm information you provide.

We may also disclose personal data to affiliated companies, service providers, potential matches, and other third parties as described below.

Can third parties see my personal data?

  • If you are a Capital Provider: Information you choose to include in your profile may be made available to Capital Seekers when necessary to facilitate a potential match or when you authorize us to share it. We will only share your information as described in this Privacy Policy or as authorized by you.
  • If you are a Capital Seeker: Information you submit about yourself, and, where applicable, the business or other organization you represent, its owners or management team, or your request for capital, may be shared with Capital Providers whom you select, to whom you direct us to disclose it, or whom we identify as a potential match. We do not intend to make nonpublic application materials available to the general public unless you choose to publish or share them.
  • Like many online services, we may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, understand usage, maintain security, and improve performance.

Other third parties may include:

  • Service providers that host, maintain, secure, or support the Services;
  • Analytics, communications, customer support, identity verification, and fraud prevention providers;
  • Payment processors or financial-service providers, when applicable;
  • Professional advisers, including attorneys, accountants, consultants, and insurers; and
  • Government authorities or other parties, when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

  • To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; and
